Its been a while since our last commentary but there are some things that people want cleared up.  First, the whole thing with Mike McCabe.  Ok, I am not going to get on here and put him down or talk about how much I don't like him.  Nothing could be farther from the truth.  Mike is a great guy who will do anything for his friends.  He is just green and needed some more experience before he could run with The Syndicate, thats all.  Ok, now, all of you Mike McCabe fans can stop asking!!  Its been a wild few months, MSW moved from Beckley to Mt. Hope, APW moved from Bluefield to Welch (then closed!), and people continue to bitch and complain about STUPID things, such as other shows!!!  Speaking of which, amd mo, I am not going to mention any names!!  But it is a promotor I have worked for recently.  You will not make a fortune off of this business!  Just ask Tom LIlly!  God only knows how he stays above water! I was told when I started this that if you were looking to make money, find another job, and that is the truest thing I have seen in this business.  But I think not to go belly up, you have to be reasonable.  If you are just starting a federation, don't rent out the biggest building you can find!!!!!!!  It makes no sense, it takes time to build a crowd, and a 5 - 6000 seat Armory is not the smart way of doing it.  Start small, hell anyone SAY  "I have all this money", untill they start loosing it!  Back in APW in Oak Hill, we were pulling in 200+ a week and did it it in a SMALLER BUILDING!!  It is easier to work a crowd if there is a crowd to work!!  Don't get me wrong, booking and promoting is a tough job, I did it once (MSU show) and it was a 3 month headache, but don't complicate it by getting a building to big.  Now, I am going to name drop one name, Brian Reznor.  I don't him, have no idea what he is about or what his plans are, I am not saying anything bad about him, but Brian, if you are going to do this wrestling promotion, start small and then build once you crowd comes up.  I know you have said that you know about wrestling, and you may, like I said, I don't know you, but if you ask anyone who has been around the business, they will tell you the same thing, start small!  Amyway, thats all I have time for today, so, I will see you on Thursday nights in Mt. Hope.
